“We will go over how to use the Psychrometric Chart, condensate from cooling coils, and formulas for Technicians to learn how to field check capacity of Heating and Cooling Coils or HVAC units.”

CLASS SUMMARY:

• Review the Psychrometic Chart and its Principles.
• Measure the amount of Condensate per hour of operation for Cooling coils to calculate actual coil capacity performance.
• Read temperature and humidity across coils to calculate CFM, Total Heat and Capacity.
• Go through problem examples.

• Review EPA Documentation on Mold in various Buildings
• Inspection, Prevention and Remediation with HVAC Systems
• Review Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) on Mold in HVAC Systems and Buildings
• Actual Pictures of Mold in buildings, for Prevention, Inspection and Remediation

Class Details:  

TIME OF CLASSES:

• Morning Class begins promptly at 8:00 AM.  Class is 4 hours long, going to 12:00 noon.
• Afternoon Class begins promptly at 1:00 PM.  Class is 4 hours long, going to 5:00 PM.

CLASS Logistics:

• Classes last for 4 hours.  A certificate will be issued for reach student.
• These classes are not manufacturer specific and are not a sales pitch, so they will qualify for State of Georgia HVAC License Holders CEU’s for 4 hours.  
• Class requires a minimum is 6 students, maximum is about 36 students.
• You are on your own for meals and you may bring your meal into the classroom.
